"Purple Up! For Military Kids" is a day for Department of Defense Education Activity communities to wear purple to show support & thank military children for their strength & sacrifices. This is observed every year on April 15th during the Month of the Military Child, we encourage students wanting to support our McCook Central Military Families to wear purple on Monday, April 15th!
The MCM JV Softball doubleheader scheduled for today against Parker has been rescheduled to tomorrow, starting at 5:30pm in Montrose.
The Student Council will be hosting a Prince Princess Dance on April 14th from 4:00 - 6:00 pm in the McCook Central PAC.
The MCM JH Track & Field Meet scheduled for Thursday, April 4th at Mt. Vernon has been cancelled due to snow on their track.
The HS Track & Field Meet scheduled for Tuesday, April 2 at Parkston has been cancelled.
Thursday's MCM Softball game at Colman-Egan has been postponed to Friday, April 5.
If you have Easter boxes you were planning to pickup this afternoon and evening, this has been postponed until Thursday during the same time slots
Due to winter weather conditions, McCook Central School District is Closed on Tuesday, March 26th, the Elementary Concert will be postponed to a new date.

Additional School Days: Classes will now be in session on Mon, May 13th, and Tues, May 14th. These days will serve as makeup days for the instructional time lost due to inclement weather.
Early Dismissal: On Tues, May 14th, there will be an early dismissal @1PM. We hope this adjustment will accommodate any end-of-year plans while still fulfilling our academic requirements.

Congratulations to the following MCM Wrestlers that have qualified for the State Tournament. Elliott Bartlett, Alexis Bryant, Landon Flogstad, Tucker Peterson, Carter Randall, Parker Randall, Will Rotert, and Trystan Traupel. The tournament will begin on Thursday, February 22nd at 10:00am at the Premier Center in Sioux Falls.
The MCM Girls Basketball team will play against West Central in the Region 3A tournament on Tuesday, February 20th at 7:00pm at West Central.
